Game Description

The rivalry between cat and mouse has been captured in almost every medium and it comes through in the small game of Squicky. You're entering into a world where all animals have very square-like bodies and where cats are the same size as mice. Even though that is the case, mice are still very much the prey in this scenario and therefore need to rely more on their wily nature. You can help this small mouse outsmart a bunch of cats that have invaded its home while also collecting enough coins and stuff to become the richest mouse in the world.

How to Play

Cat-and-mouse games go all over the genre spectrum but generally have us controlling one or the other. In this one, you're controlling a mouse in a standard platforming adventure through multiple levels. It has a simple and stylized appearance which fits the theme and context well so you can enjoy this in a relaxed setting or when you need a short challenge to kill some time. The movement has some fluidity to it so you'll need to control your movement as well as your speed. Once you get that balance, those cats won't pose half the threat of accidentally sliding off an edge.
